Variability

Too much variance and too many possibilities (Moormann, USM, HAY) lead to too much complexity which only makes sense in extremely large configurations. In everyday situations, corresponding to smaller configurations, they can rather lead to the purchase of pre-modeled furniture. If the framework of configuration possibilities is guided and narrowly defined (Tylko, Beehome), all-day relevant furniture configurations result in a fast, comfortable way, which can be systemic, individual pieces even in small configurations. However, the extensibility after completion of the design suffers from the reduction in the configuration process. Subsequent changes or replacements are not possible.
